A little more about me
I'm a CPR and First Aid certified childcare provider and a high school senior, with professional experience in after-school youth programs and one-on-one experience caring for toddlers.
In after-school programs, I've worked with children ages 7 to 10: supervising groups, leading educational and creative activities, helping with homework, and supporting kids as they grew more confident and independent. Outside of those programs, I've cared for toddlers one-on-one, so I'm comfortable with naps, meals, and keeping busy little ones safe.
I believe children deserve to feel heard, understood, and encouraged to explore the world around them. Whether we're working through a tricky homework assignment, making something creative, or winding down before bedtime, I follow your family's routines and rules while keeping things safe, engaging, and meaningful. Your kids feel supported, and you get real peace of mind.

Rates
Simple, transparent pricing
One hourly rate based on the number of children, never separate full rates for each child. Weekends cost the same as weekdays.

Add-ons can combine. For example, a short-notice booking that runs past 10 PM includes both. Special requests are subject to availability.
Booking details
- 3-hour minimum for occasional babysitting. Regular after-school care nearby can be 2 hours.
- School pickups need written permission from you, and I must be on the school's authorized pickup list.
- Families reimburse MetroCard or OMNY fares for pickups and outings by public transit.
- Please give 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel. There's no cancellation fee.
- Payment after each booking (or weekly for regular care) by Venmo (preferred), PayPal, or Cash App.
- For bookings that end after 10 PM, we'll agree on safe transportation home for me before I confirm.

Questions parents ask
Are you an agency or a daycare?
No. London's Childcare is just me, an independent caregiver. I'm not a licensed daycare center or a team of sitters. The person you meet is the person who cares for your children.
Which areas do you cover?
I care for families throughout Queens, NYC. Tell me your neighborhood in your request and I'll confirm it works.
What ages do you care for?
I care for children ages 1 to 13. My professional experience is with ages 7 to 10 in after-school programs, and I've also cared for toddlers one-on-one. I'm CPR and First Aid certified and trained to help a choking child.
When are you available?
Monday to Friday from 12 PM to 8 PM, and weekends from 9 AM until midnight. I can stay very late on weekend nights, so just ask. For short-notice needs, send a request and I'll do my best.
You're in high school. How does that affect your availability?
My hours are set around school, so the times above are the times I can reliably cover. I'll always be upfront about what I can take on, and I won't accept a booking I can't keep.
How do you prepare for emergencies or special care needs?
Before your first booking, we'll go over emergency contacts, allergies, medications, household rules, and anything else I should know. We'll do this privately, not through this website. I'm CPR and First Aid certified. If your child takes medication or has medical needs, we'll talk it through first and agree on what I can safely handle.
How do school pickups work?
I'll pick your child up at dismissal and bring them home on foot or by public transit. Before the first pickup, I'll need your written permission, and you'll need to add me to your school's authorized pickup list. Pickups are included in your booked hours, and families reimburse transit fares.
Will I hear from you during a booking?
Yes. Before each booking we'll agree on when you'd like updates, and I'll check in at those times. I'll always contact you right away if anything comes up.
Is there a minimum booking?
Occasional babysitting has a 3-hour minimum. Regular after-school care close by can be 2 hours.
What if we need to cancel?
Please give at least 24 hours' notice when you can. There's no cancellation fee. I know plans change, and I appreciate the heads-up.
How does payment work?
Pay after each booking for occasional babysitting. For regular after-school care we can set up weekly payments. I accept Venmo (preferred), PayPal, and Cash App.
Can we meet before booking?
Yes, I'd love to! Choose "Meet first" in the request form and we'll find a time for you, your kids, and me to get to know each other before your first booking.
